And there's the continual problem of the wargamer being better informed then the historical commander, which ruins a lot of refought battles and campaigns both. But anything like this tends to be a popularity (or fame) contest, which is why you so often see the same nominees for "best" and "worst" anything. |

I believe that Morgan's Raid would be a good campaign -- and also make a helluva movie. But it will never be made in this day and age. |
