I've been considering adding Dinosaurs to my Army Men rules, since I first wrote them, in 1998. If I ever re-publish them, I will likely add in Dinosaurs, just for the fun of it, using some sort of dice-AI mechanism to determine who they attack each time they move. LOL! My rules are aimed at introducing children to miniatures gaming, but the rules are capable of entertaining adults, as well. I have not yet play-tested Dinosaurs. I need to do that one of these days… Cheers! |

Yes and maybe… 1.) At the dollar store a few years back I found a very small scale set of plastic figurines contained in a "rocky cave" terrain clamshell storage case (whole thing less than 3" x 3"). I added a chess board and turned these into a simple abstract strategy game called "Big Honkin' Lizards" featuring the included anachronistic cavemen, 14 plant-eating dinosaurs, 2 meat-eating dinos, and four trees as obstacles. The dinosaur player had to get his plant-eaters all the way across the board; the caveman player had to capture as many plant-eaters as possible, and avoid the meat-eaters (who would chomp them). Compare escape vs. capture to see who won. 2.) I have used unusual dinosaurs as monster lizard types (basilisks, etc.) in D&D. But as yet I have not included these in a true miniatures game… again, yet. |

I'm old enough to have been called a dinosaur but only had used one in an African game. |

Yes! Most typically Anguirus, Godzillasaurus, Gorosaurus, Titanosaurus, etc. in kaiju games. But certainly not averse to any sort of dino games. : 3 |

No, but I did make 2D carnosaurs and stegadons back when I made paper armies. |

I began assembling stuff, but the game never came to pass. Still, I'm often assured that I AM a dinosaur--or possibly a fossil--and that ought to count for something. |
