Judoon from Doctor Who – Rhino Mercs/private security/police
From the Traveller RPG, I always liked the Vargr.

Probably Niven's Kzinti – rat-tailed cats.
2nd Gurkhan on the Kzinti
Any of the alien species from C.J. Cherryh's multitude of books, but especially the Hani (cats) from the Chanur series.
Space Rats.
Toss up between Weasels from Fleet book series and bugs from Traveler 2300.
Kzinti.
Pigs

The Tines.
Kzinti/Kilrathi
Vargr, though Kzinti are pretty cool.
Ducks
1. POTA!
2. Giraffe Men3. Communist Gorillas from Outer Space4. Fishmen, Fishmen, Roly-Poly Fishmen
Honorable mention:Brainz! … I mean they're some earth species' brain, right?
… unless Volkswagen is a species …
Quar.
Bugs, lots and lots of bugs.
Kzinti. What's not to like about large psycopathic tigers :)
Vargr (Traveller's uplifted wolves)
